Acer Says It Will Continue Making Netbooks

Steady though tablets are passing netbook sales, and ultrabooks are the hottest, newest lightweight laptop darlings, Acer is committed to making netbooks.

Digitimes reports that Acer Frailty Chief Executive Scott Lin says the company bequeath focus on bringing netbooks to nascent markets such as China, India, and Indonesia–places where cheap laptops are still in high need.
